Election Day Blues Western Haiku Poem by Frank Sheehan

Election Day Blues Western Haiku

Finally concluded
rambunctious campaign
Scooby Doo

Be Bop Deluxe
look at loons
pestering historical

Democracy imperiled
Do la la Hi Ho
legal challenges

Anxiety, edginess
contorts day
Citizens Rule

Suspense galore
mimics delight
transference Supreme

Electoral Votes
amass temptation
Confession benign

We're all
brothers
and sisters.

I love this poem..it sums up the whole surrealistic election charade...especially the notion of a ' rambunctious (such a great word) campaign'
