that's the coal miner's golden daughter goin' Home

who sang her heartfelt songs to every fan

as to each, alone

oh take her kindly sweet and angel band

we'll miss her singing here

you understand

brightening our wilderness, our semi paradise roads

the best she can

and each song planted now

and with the Singer, sown

the sweet bird flown

the sweet and singing bird has flown.
