Dedicated Joan Anne Cecilia
The excellent prose poetess
The sea, that nightly is not call –
The flood of glass-heaven’s oceans
And the pale promise by sky stars all,
Passed trough by the search sails’ motions.
The song, that in tuned transitory
Pearled by the swans’ sounded moon beams,
Where forth from the nightly melancholy
Swindling broke faint-hearted day dreams.
Glassy, full land of the world’s extinct lie,
In front of bays’ paling blue fashion
Anchor the barges at starry sky,
See transient stars bright constellation.
The silent promise by sky stars all –
The glass flood, full cracks almost split,
Retracted the sea, that is not call,
At night, as the sails swindle it.
Sehnsuchtselegie

Der exzellenten Prosadichterin
Das Meer, das nächtlich niemand nennt –
Die Flut aus den gläsernen Wogen
Und fahler Verheißung am Firmament,
Von suchenden Segeln durchzogen.
Das Lied, verklungner Vergänglichkeit
Entperlend, als Schwäne es sangen,
Wo schwindelnd aus nächtlicher Traurigkeit
Die zaghaften Tagträume drangen.
Gläsern, voll Land der verloschenen Welt,
Vor Buchten aus blassendem Blauen
Ankern die Kähne am Sternenzelt,
Das vergängliche Funkeln zu schauen.
Die stille Verheißung am Firmament –
Die Glasflut, von Sprüngen durchzogen,
Nahm nächtlich das Meer, das niemand nennt,
Weil es die Segel betrogen.
