Elements Poem by Frankie Stones

Elements

The elements mimicked my emotions. On such a day as today where my heart was full of sorrow and an unrelenting desire to be with him the weather had shared my thoughts and feelings in which rain wind and gloom were the only answers. I never asked for much but received more than my fair share of good luck. I had been blessed by gods and goddesses to live a life full of constant change they thought it to be a blessing for I never had a dull moment but I thought it to be a curse as I longed to feel whole but destiny had placed too many obstacles in my way. I was doomed never to live a quiet life and in doing so I never kept anything for long even things I had tried so desperately to keep hold of. I lost it all in the end. Losing everyone and everything I held dear.
