Desire to escape, be elsewhere
Not here, not at this spot -
Elsewhere.
Without idea, or restraint,
For fugue, forever fugitive,
Unbinds and frees.
Constraint, constant and always strict,
Ties umbilical knots,
The tribe's law.
Where duty maps, persists, insists,
Shows no mercy, detains -
Promise, determined.
Fixes, fuses, own local length,
Forever conscious, cautious,
Of the sap's root.
Conflicting quests consort to trap
Traveler, at the source -
Wrestles, to win......
To hold nomad spirit, longing,
Thirsiing to Be -
Elsewhere.
Elsewhere lies beyond, elusive,
Lives locked inside -
Life's silent cry -
Where spirit flees mediocrity,
Migrating mind moves,
Follows the muse.
As body conforms, consents,
Bends, mixes mud and mortar -
To build walls!
