Embraced By A Muse Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Embraced By A Muse

Delicious kiss of flesh and intellect
She is the ambassador of soul
Link between the heavens and the clay
Moon glow
Floral array
Violet night like a corridor of Vivaldi
Your fire speaks of personal growth
Breath of delight
Renaissance Italy

Mind like a Paris sunset
My Lady on the bridge of reason
Perfume of gallant ages
Silk like milk from St Petersburg
Revolutions are romance of universals
Café of the left bank
Hats of the impressionists
Risqué as the symbolists
Spanish baroque

Sistine Chapel
Satin sheets white as clouds
Romance is history
You are my sailing dreams
Bodice of the Enlightenment
Stilettos of poetry
William James by the sea
Pablo Neruda in the delicate sands
Emily Dickinson sighing by the window
