Embroidered On The Waters

black swan or white swan
equally immortal
beautifully stitched on the mythical waters
or in the ballets who can say
is this the light of shadow portrayed the shadow of light
in the end there is that gemlike flight
into the realms of the unseen
equally dreamlike in my dream
and full of peril and tears.
