Empty Bags. Poem by Peter Vealey

Empty Bags.

'Pins and needles'
of annoyance and derision.
Stalk the airwaves?
Black-belted in defiance.
Oh Gawd!
The cup dropped in the dark
On my favourite Aunts picture.
Simultaneously an almighty crack,
In the sky appeared,
Breezing in another morn.
