Empty Handed Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Empty Handed

Rating: 5.0

My umbrella
Is always handy
Except when
It rains hard.

It feels great
To get wet
For body it is
A nice shower.

Problem is that
What I carry
Things of value
May be destroyed.

Good to be
Empty handed
Umbrella's of no use
In windy rain.

We have come empty handed; we have to leave empty handed. This umbrella poem of yours reminds us of that truth. (10)

So very correct! It is better to get wet empty handed than having an umbrella in hand and get soaked in rain! Interesting poem!
