Empty Rooms Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Empty Rooms

The walls remember voices,
soft echoes of laughter,
footsteps that no longer return.

Dust settles where hands once touched,
light falls on untouched chairs,
the air is thick with absence.

Time moves,
but the rooms remain,
waiting for someone
who will not come back.
