Without disturbing the stillness of the night
He whispered in my ears with a sweet voice
A fog of tossed emotions is blurring my sight
All I can see is you who landed silently before my eyes
With a fearless smile that said you had foreseen
The slightest movement of my unpredictable heart
Then I close my eyes I hear melodies
I keep searching beyond the notes wanting a sign
But all I've got is a toast with empty promise
Tempted by the hope spreading before my eyes
In spite of every night I'm still wanting this time to be true
Even if you're lies keep tearing me a part
I've spent a life of eternal pain to finally realize
That I can never see the sun if I'm the moon
Neither meet the sky if I'm the ocean
It took me a while to understand that
We share the same destiny in opposite worlds
