End Of Friends - Poem by James Wilson

The End has me
Under its thumb.
I'd bequeath all that is dear
-Seventeen unwritten verses
-Four cigarette stubs (one still smouldering)
-A pocket filled with memory.

To my friends:
I give you these
Four solid walls
To give you structure.
