Woken by the silence of cold night
Listening to the murmur of own thoughts
I stayed awake, waiting for dawn
Waiting to be novice, to be unknown.
Pulled in by the sea of sorrow
Without a cry for help
Drowning seemed the sole way
Way to an end, way to a start.
The distance so far seemed aimless
The journey ahead, endless
Realised, I never walked, always ran
Away from deeds, away from needs
Accepting the end was easy
Way towards a start too long
Stuck in middle, away from both
Headed for the end, without a mourn
Will rise again, like that blistering sun
Brought the darkness myself
Will break the dawn too
To start, to walk, to reach, to live.
