Energy = To Mass Squared By The Speed Of Light! Poem by RAJ NANDY

*ENERGY EQUALS TO MASS SQUARED
BY THE SPEED OF LIGHT
E= mc2, that famous signature equation of
Albert Einstein,
Where the potential energy of Urinanium 235,
Is converted into destructive energy form,
To become a ‘fatal’ equation, ushering in a
nuclear detonation, -
Of the Hiroshima – Nagasaki kind!
Mass can be turned into energy as in atomic
fission,
And energy can be turned into mass as in atomic
fusion!
To prevent such destruction and maddening
confusion,
Einstein in his letter to President Roosevelt,
Cautioned him of atom’s power of destructive
kind,
Hoping it would be harnessed for peaceful
use by mankind!
For there will come a day when our natural
resources would get exhausted,
And our nuclear reactors shall harness this
peaceful energy, -
Atom for peace - would become a reality!
