Engineers Designing The Future Poem by Terence George Craddock

Engineers Designing The Future

once upon a time in the wilderness
often an engineer was also a pioneer
snap bang time flash gone is wilderness
city you live in might have been wilderness
snap bang flash back just a few hundred years
a few hundred years ago town city was wilderness
ancient towns cities now ruins once were not wilderness
time circles landscapes climates change out of into wilderness

an engineer a pioneer
some engineers were both
an engineer's life is probably easier
now than it used to be with growth
no need to roast to freeze with better technology
with easier access to work sites accessibility

with new challenges building on the old
an engineering design process is a series
of steps that engineers follow to come up
with a solution to a problem new solutions
involve designing a test product a machine
a computer code that meets certain criteria
accomplishes prototype certain required tasks

engineer engineer tell us how to build
on outdated old safely bring in technology new
how do engineers play game name develop the new

first design engineer must focus on engineering
design process in required various engineering
disciplines including chemical civil electrical
mechanical textiles possibly venturing into fields
exotic like aerospace nuclear manufacturing systems
while incorporating architectural building structural
design engineers will tend to work on specific products
systems that involve adapting using complex scientific

mathematical techniques with an emphasis
that tends to be on utilizing engineering physics
applied sciences to develop solutions for society

so how will design process work in applied practice
our bright spark design engineer may follow product
make necessary requested required changes corrections
throughout the useful life of pet product cradle to grave
engineering a design engineer must work interact closely
with manufacturing engineer throughout product life cycle

our engineer once a pioneer hero
still battles elements environments
to produce updated applied solutions
required by a more complex society
new resources new elements new energies
new rare earth elements limited require
a race to be first to establish adapt new
technology in an internet interface world

our engineer once a pioneer hero still battles elements environments to produce updated applied solutions required by a more complex society new resources new elements new energies new rare earth elements limited require a race to be first to establish adapt new technology in an internet interface world.....yes that's true. Engineers are worthy creatures an asset often admired. Indeed an engineer like Deluke must be proud reading your ode series.
