Ennui Poem by Mousheera Shafik

Ennui

She laid down in her bed,
Her eyes are up to the ceiling,
With these millions thoughts in her head,
She had that hideous feeling.

her eyes are still up, and gazing..
she is holding her hands upon her chest,
she is waiting for something amazing,
her nerve is ascending up till crest…

her eyes are up still, as if she is seeing a film.
she can't help it, she is stormy thinking,
she is so sad, it starts to overwhelm,
her eyes bulged, she is not even blinking.

She is thinking over and over,
She sees no image but his,
She is turning like a doper,
She wonders where he is..! !

She feels guilt so strong, so far..
But mistakes are forgivable,
Her image of her self became so mare,
The wound is widen, and won't be treatable..

She is not giving any thing up,
She is waiting,
… I just told you seconds ago;
She is not giving anything up,
She is waiting,
Ah….., you are asking why she got off the bed? ?
Yeah, as I told you;
She is not giving anything up,
She is waiting,
But she just went to smoke a cigarette..
She felt ennui,
That's all…… :)
