Enslaved - And - Oppressed Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

For many years
the Egyptians
enslaved Israel.

But God had made
a promise to their
forefather Abraham.
"Know this for certain, "
Abraham was told,

"Your offspring will be
foreigners in a land
that does not
belong to them.

They will be enslaved
and oppressed
for 400 years.

However, I will judge
the nation, and
afterward, they
will go out with
many possessions".
