Entangled Poem by Nidhi Rajesh Kumari

Entangled

Sometimes I could not resist to feel
Like I was the only one
Suited for you on this planet
In the very long run.

But every time we were close
I realized the reality
I realized, together forever
We never were meant to be.

It was all so fine and perfect
When we walked by the shores
When I wrote your papers
And you helped me with the chores.

The times we sang together
The days we spent on the tree house
All was beautiful around us
Before this ugly feeling aroused.

Blind was your faith in me
And I could trust my life in you
But, this serene bond is now out of sight
Just as the vanishing dew.

I hope we could wind it all up
And start afresh together
Such that we'd always stay close
Stuck to one another.

Ah, its not that easy to forget
The past, both well and bad
May be it was all meant to happen
The way it has had.
