Entering Heaven Poem by Randy McClave

Everyone wants to enter Heaven after they die
But, they don't want to be Heavenly minded while they live,
To be a true Christian they never do try
And they also decided never to learn or help or to give.
They don't follow the teachings of Jesus
And sadly through the Lord they are not saved,
Many follow the teachings of others from dust
The new road to their afterlife they now have paved.
Their afterlife is now laid out ahead
The eternity that they chose,
Their new journey will start the moment they are dead
They have decided either the high or the low road.
Doing good deeds will not ever lead you to Heaven
And of course clothes drives, volunteering and mission trips never will,
Not even if you eat bread made leaven
Or even reading of the man who died on Golgotha hill.
Everyone doesn't think or worry about their fate
Even though they should many do implore,
Remember, Heaven has only one entrance gate.
And Hell, has no exit door.
