Research man did perform to enhance the yeild
Of food grains essential to all of them feed.
Stretched was capacity of earth to them produce,
Chemical fertilizers did it's fertility reduce.

Rivers were obstructed for ocean like dams
To quench the thirst of ever growing population
And to irrigate soil for food for hungry humen.
Destabilizingthus, thus, natures own equilibrium.

For reclaiming land he made sea to shrink,
No need he then felt its impact to think.
It too was encroachment on nature's domain
Onslaught on its' authority was really in vain.
