Epiphany

let all regarding angels

over the cold enduring earth

where we wander as in a daze, a maze

a counterfeit of home

and try to think drinking coffee

will make up for all vacuity and quiet dread

to be dead before we are dead

when treading onto the work mill treadmill

let all regarding angels eucastastrophic blaze the Star

that once over his improbable Nativity shone

on every shift, through every break room catatonic reverie

so that in our well disguised weeping behind the mask

professional souls

suddenly there is a hearth, a home

that cannot fade

from which there shall never be eviction

nor call to false arms

though landlords, generals seeming rage

here we are, the progeny of God

brought to rights again

while shephards praise

and the flocks are becalmed.

and the flocks are becalmed.

and are not required to move on.
