Epizoon
Feel betrayed, betrayer
-each of them in own way.
Have lost rights to crooks
-defend the abused
-was what should have, could
-but remained silent to
-the corrupt in power…
Shame, shame, shame
-I am a betrayer!
When was in trawlers
-of Kolkhoz; Soviets',
-kidnapped to communicate
-my release for ransom
-I cut me off from the pirates.
But had to defend them
-since knew they were right.
Wrong people were Mullahs
-and those who praised, bowed.
Main corrupt was nephew
-president's, of the time
-Rafsanjani; the Mullah.
Mohammad was his name
-and he owned ‘Neptune Seyd'
-Kazemian, his last name
-son to the sister of president.
And Iran's officials
-preaching Islam but all corrupt
-served the man's relatives
-as if each was a boss.
No asking for reason
-no need for time, season
-just bowed, bowed and obeyed…
Shilat gave all permits
-even gave one ship, ‘Kish'
-to have the man happy
-and use him as bridge
-for their own benefits.
The nation could face hell
-if ever sought fairness
- (Ignored laws and Islam…)
Country and her wealth
-just belongs to Mullahs
Just mullahs!
Just mullahs!
Just mullahs!
Bullshit are rest of us…
I cut my relations
-with bad, worse and middle
-ate little, whatever
-and used the sea water
-to clean, wash bottom…
In meantime practised
-for escape; swimming.
Could stay in water
-for hours; even day.
So, planned, studied to flee
-prepared what could be
-found fisher, until late, sleeping…
Visible were the rigs as target…
Would dive in early and
-would be at the beach when
-they woke for breakfast…
Made a tool to fight sharks…
Looked for time and found it
-as Sun comes, rising…
Before the time comes I
-saw in depths herd of sharks!
Was shocked and felt my eyes
-swelling as whirlpool…got scared.
In my heart some dagger
-from loss that happened;
-walked across the vessel.
For days I kept away
-from sea, and water
-till I learned
-had seen a tiger shark
-around it many of epizoons
-cleaning parasites to feed on
-but I had been too wrong.
As person in desert and mirage
-I had felt mass of sharks around us.
"Tiger shark is harmless! "
Once again practised
-jumped in for swimming
-till came time…
Could see the silver sun
-with surface was in line
-motionless, very calm.
In my hand a stick
-on one end hammer-like
-and wore the blue suit
-for navy, safety…
"Sharks like it colourful
-attack is likelihood when lighter
-since reflects the blood and flesh."
Speedboats passed by me
-had whistle, sea-trip's
-stopped and blew in…
It was of no use since
-louder were the engines.
I swam easily
-saw the sand on the beach
-near me were the Rigs
-saw me soon reaching it.
World reversed with current
-everything that happened
-was new in sudden…
Suddenly
Suddenly
Suddenly
I went back into sea…
-high tide was departing
-and low tide arriving
-with the moon having failed…
-The Sun was now ruling! ! !
What a life!
What a life!
What a life!
For loser…all along!
The crew had found out
-trawlers searched to find
-escapee on the run…
Same small trawler
-which I could walk across
-in no more than seconds
-now, to me seemed mountain
-and poor me, Moby-Dick
-with arrows in my side.
