Equality Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Equality

Equality

Now busy with truck I see men, stand and
Get released, then drive
I listened to one say: “This is not women’s job.”

I added to flame; as it is my normal.
With questions and questions and question.
This is how I go deep, always swim; also dive.

“I am not a sexist…they are great…don’t resist.”
He talked and I was mouse.

In meantime I recalled desert tour in Dubai.
Men, women, both Eastern and Western…
Two poor chicks needed to…
They had to walk a lot
And at last one stood
With cloth…

“It can be…I replied.”
