Eposioma Poem by Ndimancho T. Nyowikeh

Eposioma

How I found pleasure in two siblings;
En route to the Palapala playground.
Down by the pal's garden, Behold!
Came the fetching sound of Jove creatures.
Roaming the earth, as if from heaven comest.
At first sight, came an image of Glory.
Acknowledging they were humans,
Was to deny one's cerebrum and sanity.
Then, my fears, fetching an inconceivable woo.
My former courage is one lost in thoughts.
Walk pass them, in the sand, by the Pal's garden
My love deeply into them, at a time, dubs me.

Their presence, a sanctuary magnet,
That invites me to bow and worship.
Their absence, a strong nostalgic feeling,
That drives my thoughts into the past.
Eposi, a darling _ with a natural coquettish aura
Choima, a tall glass of wine, Pal's spring indeed.
Both are unique features that I can't get rid of.
If I could pick one, I would be hurting the other,
I can't see one of them cry for want of solace.
The situation is all complicated for me,
Have you ever treasured someone that you see
The other when you glimpsed into their eyes?
A glance at Eposi brings a view of Choima.
How I think, I'm slowly losing my mind.
If this is love, tell Eposi she's my Valentine!
If this be love, tell Choima I'm Romeo.
