The Gold Digger Poem by Ndimancho T Nyowikeh

The Gold Digger

Precious, daughter of Makale,
A Harlot, cheap, poor and lazy.
Will sit and beg from dawn to dusk,
Displaying phones sugar daddy bought.
She will use it to beg for data & credit.
She will use it to beg for urgent 2k.
She will use it solely as a camera,
When moving, iPhone takes the lead.

Her every message carries a fashion,
To beg is a trait and pride for her,
When granted, she hails you darling!
When rejected, she terms you stingy!
Clothes and shoes she can't afford
Stock in her wardrobe.
Changing her hairstyle is a strict culture,
Violation of which leads to a closure.

The content of her wig is empty.
Empty as her medulla oblongata.
But cramped with the recent fashion.
Styled in her way and fashion,
Her gentle pass brings commotion,
Spurring and evoking more competition.

To promise her cash,
Is to make thyself a debtor.
The show of money and luxury,
Wins her heart in hundreds and tens.
If truth be told, in fear of danger,
Precious is a gold digger!
