Erotic Blue Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Erotic Blue

Rating: 4.0

Erotic blue expatiation
Impressions of vibrant indigo
Avenue where ripe plums croon
Purple breasts like late summer grapes
Sunsets with third heaven words
Topaz with turquoise angels
Desert shamans tell their visions
Crystal ghosts hide in diamond slippers
My bed sighs with moon elves

Time is a necklace of moons
We bask like children of rivers
Islands of euphoric wings
Great wings of healing
Trees with boughs deep as truth
Sirens of the forest apothecary
Gypsy azure kisses
Silver minds
Chaste roses pruned in gold

Sweet blue songs in the wind
You are pious opium love
Spikenard and wine
Pagan incense
I feel your currents
Madness has maidens
Symbiotic blue pirate masts
Waters with myth and ethos
Ulysses sails with magic

Whispering violins of Vivaldi
Poppy fields with wild yellow sky
I am the vulgar poet
No more a monk of Greece
Armies of Dionysus come
We plunge like precipitous cliffs
Effaced by knowledge
Dancers of Degas
Wax melting by a smoking caterpillar

Viking ships in the Irish blood
Black Sea Cossacks
Blades as bright as Venus
Jealous mathematicians
Ancient scrolls
Libraries of sophisticated seances
Blue fallen heaven thunders
Explorers map the wanton garden
Now the stars speak like flowers

Mortal streams of silent blood
Read the night of violet portent
Scarlet docile whips of ideals
Her body with no stolen heart
Living soul of struggling light
Your beauty radiates with trial
I too have chosen to be good
We walk slopes of exotic blue
Erotic blue eyes walk for the stars
