Escape Poem by Melanie Emikohe

Escape

Rating: 5.0

Away from all thousand facts
Is a spot to be with you,
Where grasses curl to our toes
And sultry midnights roll.

Speak not of what cannot be;
It's our space, nothing else.
Somewhere and away, I shall love you,
Be snuggled, watch the speckled sky.
