Eternity's Curse Poem by Chantelle Nixon

Eternity's Curse

I dream of red roses with long, bloody thorns
I dream of lace gowns all ragged and torn
I dreamt of great beauty that love will not give
I dream of his door where I long to live
I dreamt of gold bands which turned my hands green
I dreamt of happiness none of it I've seen
I dreamt of sweet kisses but chocolates gone bad
These bittersweet moments wish I'd never had
With every good thing you brought something worse
My heart forever trapped in your eternity's curse
