Etiquette A Society Social Safety Valve Poem by Terence George Craddock

Etiquette A Society Social Safety Valve

etiquette a society
social safety valve
prevents disasters;

in many cultures countries societies
there are moral ethical formulated
codes a detailed system of rules

that explain the required desired
correct manners conduct procedures;
to be followed in formal situations

to be followed in informal social gatherings;
from greeting eating talking dancing to departing
from birth childhood adulthood to vulnerable aging

from weddings to death social etiquette is important;
breaking etiquette rules rude may result in social alienation
integration of common values prevents faux pas culture shock
