Euphoric Philosophy Poem by Gregory Johnson

Euphoric Philosophy

Euphoric Philosophy

The very first sight
My body, mind,
And soul
Was filled
With great enthusiasm
But not overwhelmed
About the thought
Of knowing

I can't have you
Just for a night
Or for eternity
But once we adapt
Or make the right
Connection
My dreams
And desires
Will be fulfilled
When we meet
My body won't
Remain tense

Of course
My heartbeats enhance
When I'm near you
Because its no longer lust
Its love
I continue to stare
By the look of your
Confused and charming eyes
I could tell you want me
As bad as I want you
But we move
At a slow pace
Our conversation
Is very deep

To the point its crucial
Testing each others
Intelligence
As time past
Our conversation
Has grown
Even more
To the point

Where our minds
Drift off to the past
Were the great
Goddess lives
And we wonder
If married then

Would

Moses
Split the sea
Before we continue
Our pace
