I was warned
Not to use tobacco after I dined
And chew for some test
The doctor advised to desist
No doubt, it was harmful
Inviting dreadful
Diseases
For human life to cease
Some of the bad habits
If not treated
Or controlled
Can call end of life
I thought and rethought
But was caught
Between old habit
And now slaved it
Still prevailed
And now availed
Strong passion
To come out of confusion
The vow was taken
Not to smoke
Even for puff
And rejected bluff
