Even If He Does Not Answer Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

When you go through life's fire and things look dim
When God does not answer,will you still trust Him?
When you suffer affliction, and you cannot find cure,
Will you keep praying to Him and in faith, endure?

Will you praise Him in sorrow, shedding tears of grief,
When pain and the tests seem to shatter belief?
When there's no one left to call but the Name of Jesus,
Will you stand for truth,still preach the "Good News"?

When you can't see the proof of what you believe,
Will you still trust His promises you hoped to receive?
Will you thank Him in all these, know He is Sovereign,
Not counting rewards you think you should gain?

For when you gave to Christ your life in surrender,
He is LORD, He is God,He owns you, He is Master.
His love never changes and His purpose is perfect.
He's still God even if He does not give what we expect.
