Even In The Worst Person Poem by Francis Duggan

Even In The Worst Person

Even in the worst person some good you will find
A tiny grain of goodness in every tainted mind
And in every good person there is some little flaw
Though good people do live by the rule of law,
Whilst many are trying to drag tall poppies down
Off of their lofty perches of power and renown
Of their own spirituality they are losing control
As too much of self righteousness can cause darkness of the soul
Perhaps not one perfect person in the big World out there
And the near to perfect people are becoming quite rare
In a World where to many money is God and in their will to succeed
They yield to corruption the offspring of greed
Yet even in the worst person some good you will find
A tiny grain of goodness in every tainted mind.
