Even Old Musicians Must Die Poem by Terence George Craddock

Even Old Musicians Must Die

Rating: 5.0

the arts
passion in music
enriches years young

but even old musicians must die
not even music can take sharp sting
of death in deeply bitter death dying

when life is time almost played out
when the wine of life swallowed drunk
is almost to last clinging drops gone

what songs would you sing
what lips parting kiss
memories
