Evening Colors Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Evening Colors

Yellow wormwood flowerheads
Push up between green leaves
And violet red stems
Of Poke Sally.
Whose deep purple berries
Hang like decorative grapes
And Rose of Sharon's
Blue and violet flowers
Close upon one
Yellow and black bumblebee,
Gathering evenings nectar.
