Everyone Lies Poem by Amy Louise Kerswell

Everyone Lies

You say your there for me, you promise you are.
Yet when I try to talk to you your ears seem to close.
You just don't want to see.
When I reach for the phone it just rings.
But you promised to listen.
You promised to be there.

You don't no what it's like to be me.
To want to die and to be free.
I can't live my life in glee.

You don't no what it's like to reach the low.
You don't no what it's like to want to die.
All you say is it'll be fine.
Just wait one more day.

I can't sleep at night.
My demons come and get me then.

You said you'd always be there for me.
you promised you would be.
But when I need you the most
You seem so out of reach.

It's ok I get it I hate me to.
But you promised you'd be there
And you no where to be seen.

I get it now everybody lies.

Please don't push me to far
as soon far willbe to far.
And I'll be gone for ever more
