Lady you are every breath that my lungs need to breathe.
You are every beat that my heart needs to keep the blood flowing.
You are the everything that I need.
You are the only one who can give me hope to have the faith.
You are the reason that my mind can truly deeply believe.
You are the hands that make me feel.
You are my eyes that can make me see.

And you are everything that my heart needs.
You are the reason that I can see,
The happiness I feel inside of me.
If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have a reason to be,
The person I try to be.
You are everything that I need.
You are the very air that I breathe.

You are the very word that explains how much you mean to me.
It’s just too bad that a word like that doesn’t exist.
You are the very soul of who I am.
If it wasn’t for you my spirit wouldn’t be this kind of man.
You give my heart the love it needs to keep up the beat.
You are the reason that my mind can truly deeply believe.
You are the very steps beneath my feet that I have to take,
To get to you.

And you are everything that my heart needs.
You are the reason that I can see,
The happiness I feel inside of me.

The person I try to be.

You are the reason why my feet can get swept away.
You are the cells that flow through my veins.
At night you are the one who keeps me awake.
