Everything Is Forgotten....
even the best of
that past year is forgotten.
life comes in flashes of memories.
one after the other, fast like the winking
of the eye.
even love that was once in you
that night
is too forgotten.
the brain goes out
somewhere
the heart too looks for
another
leaving your body rotting
and at the end
turning back to dust again.
