Everything That Was To Last Poem by Old Teenage Poems

Everything That Was To Last

This mind
alredy mangled by time
The other dimensions
ought to call it a crime

These eyes
too youthful for cries
Gone through too much
as another hopeful future dies

No soul
can be shown in today's anatomy
We are stripped only to body
although belivers say contrary

No heart
carry my poisonous love past
Only a muscle in the human creature
We've killed everything that was to last
