Evil - Poem by Dorsey Baker

The world is caught up
in its own web of darkness
the clouds are deep and dark
monsters come out
with voices screaming
I hear the thunder
I see the lightning
its become a nightmare
no longer the dream
I was dreaming
the laughing people are no
longer the happy people
they are just pretending
everybody is disturbed
by the message
that the moon and the stars
are sending
one war is over
but another one
is just now beginning
its just a war of words
but nobody seems to be winning!
