Evil Spirit Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Evil Spirit

Evil spirit

She claims: “was possessed”
So she killed the devil in the child in onesie
From window threw out.

I think, think again, handicapped with dumbness; unaware,
In the walls, behind bars, prison, surrounded by limits.
Even though different.

For himself, 'stopping his hard pain, ' she claims.
As are the poor victims of ISIS toddler is long dead.
They by mines, shot or burned, beheaded,
He by sound of a thump on grass.

Unaware with dumbness, feel limits,
Of the walls, behind bars, prisoned; even though different.

The candid has claimed to arrest those involved with terror:
“If ever travel.”

Propaganda everywhere.

The ISIS militants in black move forward, music plays on,
They, on horse wearing the running shoes; stylish
Misty is background.

“Solitary confinements are endless, ” Worm claims.

“Prison population is at peak, is at max, ” says report.

“I escaped FGM, ” Glory says begging and aloud.
Behind bars for two years and her child only knows life in jail.
Sixteen months.

He is Alpha…
With him I, empathize.

Unaware with dumbness,
Feel limits, imprisoned by the walls,
My hands tied, so are legs and the eyes blinded;
Even if different.
