Excuses Poem by Olabode Joseph Oluwatayo

Excuses

If not that the Sun shines,
and it shines so scorchingly,
and; the Moon who is quite shy and soft,
also the cloud that may darken the day,
and that weeping rain,
that wipes the Earth away,
Moreover if not for that sky,
that sometimes fades away in blues.
if only i was that beginning,
you would not have to spell 'the end! '
Excuses are the known causes,
of all delayed successes,
an Evil ground that sacrifices,
the wealth of opportunities,
On the altar of frivolous reasons.
If excuses were the highways,
Only procrastinators would be its travellers!

Marvelous, indeed, was this work of yours. Excuses do sometimes do that to us. NICELY DONE! ! !
