Existential Existence Poem by Marie J. Christopher

Existential Existence

Existential, empirical experiences are based on senses,
emotional observations, actual facts, all residual being which remains,
Served as the source of all knowledge's and intelligence gained
To get by in life to obtain social status, honor, earthly glory, and stardom.
Opposed to knowledge, seemingly related, but loftily highly elevated is Wisdom,
The Divine attribute, God himself, compared to mere human intelligence.
Also one's built-in conscience proves that he was eternally made in the Creator's own image
To possess within oneself the noble bliss to learn and live Truth
But the imperfect Self enticed by demonic forces sows thought and reasoning seeds,
And human life is led in wild goose chase with all misleads;
Truth is replaced with lies;
And lies often lie in human knowledge,
Which has become a sword with two edges,
Can benefit an advanced, novel, orderly, lawful, moral societies,
But it can also adore man in the place of God;
Making God subordinated to man; idolizing all finite intelligent regards,
Instead of infinite divine mysteries bestowed from on high,
To comprehend such matters as human destiny and the very meaning of life,
To know the value of nobility even in pain
To suffer, to sacrifice, to bless and to be blessed.

To do all that, to gain Wisdom, one has to look beyond Self
By looking upon the endless sky of soul within, look into celestial spiritual realm,
To comprehend the surreal supernatural correlations,
The connection between human existence and divine inspirations.

How? How? How?
So abstract, so thoughtful but so super-human, beyond human capacity to know how!
First of, soul has to come to the truthful and real realization
That there is the highest Being Who had created her,
Who had once let her go from the palm of His Hand to enter earth
But He always longs that some day she will find her way to return.

Soul must come to the understand
That she lives for higher purposes,
That to find the Truth in all living things including God and the meaning of her own existence,
That she cannot simply rely on her own intuition or existential experiences
For she is not self-sufficient in the matter of eternal life and death
Of a soul which ironically is all about love or her very inner heart.

Soul has to seek from with-in and with-out;
Soul has to beg for a celestial beacon;
Soul has to be submissive and humble
In accepting that divine Truth and human lies are deceivingly resembling but vastly different,
Most time even in contrast, like humility and pride.
Divine Truth don't co-exist with pride, only do lies.
Divine Truth lives in a humble spirit,
Who searches beyond self for she truly knows that she is nothingness, made from earthly clay.
Thus, she is fully dependent and humbly persuaded;
A kindred spirit who knows that her life must be governed by love;
A soul who possesses within a golden humble and contrite heart,
Where all Divine Truth resides.

Seek and you shall find.
It might take the whole lifetime
But it worths it.
