Tribute To All Mothers
How beautiful is the love of a mother,
The love shown not only in words but more than in words - in care, in look, in all her concerns, in her worries, in hugs, in kisses, in all things untold.
Oh, how beautiful is the love of a mother!
Vast as ocean sky, soft as pillow under her child's head;
Just her one look melts one's heart, my heart;
Just her one glance, which opens the whole fountain of tenderness;
Or just one turn of her head to wipe away her tears,
Which stops all my tempers and overwhelming fear.
Oh, how swift is the love of a mother!
Quick on her feet, in rescue and support;
Forever anticipating and longing to be needed;
Forever to watch even from a distance, to observe, to protect;
She is my guardian angel, my shield the Lord once gave.
She is my dearest Mother!
(This one is for you, Mom!)
