Expelled Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Expelled

Expelled

"I hope that you hear
I'm here."
He said and took a breath
"You know me
I am the lone colleague
On the air each morning
And at ten, evening
I ignored so many
For sake of CBC
Now fired; I'm alone
Everything went like fog
From below and above
Fire comes; as I see
It is said as warning:
For later have saving.
Have you thought of a fall?
Fall comes in the worst time
A colleague pulls the rug
With hammer hits the boss
Get yourself together
Save something for later."
