The dams of distress
Finnally cracked
from the pressure
of the pain.
The restrained tears,
that rose with the years
slowly started to seep
through.
Soon a steady flow
of trapped emotion
flooded the room.
How human
you seemed
as the tears washed
away the harshness
of your face.
Lips trembled like
that of a child;
I saw you for the first time.
