Extreme Outsourcing Poem by Daya Nandan

Extreme Outsourcing

A country can not prosper if its government keeps pushing down wages,
Especially when most of its people are suffering in all of life's stages,
Outsourcing local jobs to other countries just to save some extra cash,
While the locals are jobless as the country faces an economic crash,

Ineffective governing by seeking cheap laborers abroad by the millions,
Causing high unemployment rates and suffering to the country's civilians,
The unemployed youths are seduced to find income through a life of crime,
While the overload of cheap laborers slowly bring the country to a darker time,

The people of the country begin to suffer as their job opportunities fade,
Poverty begins to grow and slowly people become in need of financial aid,
The rich will become richer and the poor become poorer in time,
Criminal activities drastically increase as more turn to a life of crime,

A government should not let something like this happen to its beloved nation,
Especially since every government makes so much money through taxation,
The outsourcing of jobs should be monitored and set to a fair limit,
So that the country does not cause hardships to the people living in it,

They should empower employee rights and fight for the increment of minimal wages,
Improve the quality of life and working conditions for citizens of all ages,
By doing that the unemployment rate is reduced and the money stays within the land,
The economy grows and the country escapes the terror of failure's hand.
