Most hard working parents aren't rich
They are teachers and nurses and mothers and fathers who dig a ditch,
For their family they truly do hold unwavering love
And for their family they will always take care of.
Many times they live from paycheck to paycheck
While they do their weekly trek,
Many times their check doesn't last a single week
So, new revenues they do constantly seek.
A parent will not allow their child to do or go without
Their last cent is their child's without a doubt,
For their child's need the parent will always worry and fuss
That is why a parent is truly never prosperous.

Ever noticed how most Christians aren't wealthy
And how many of them are broken, but still healthy,
Because, most of them constantly help the needy and the poor
Into their church and their homes they opened the door.
They feed and help them whenever that they can
They will gladly help every child, woman and man,
And they will always fix them a very good meal
They want them fed and their worries gone and their soul to heal.
A Christian always gives their tithes
In their mind they see and hear the starving cries,
They do their best so someone else's life would be sunny
That is why a true Christian seldom has extra money.

Ever noticed how the rich always stays well off
If you're not rich like them at you they will always ignore and scoff,
Especially if they are a millionaire or a billionaire
About your worries or needs they have no worries or care.
All that the rich care about is getting more income
And they don't care how they receive it or from where it does come,
Unto Jesus they never listen to or do truly pray
That is how the rich stays rich as the Bible does portray.
It is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven
It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle times seven,
What Jesus spoke about the rich was the truth and not a fraud
It's nearly impossible for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
