Poets are eye openers
Good thinkers and listeners
Not going by what is sweet!
But go by bitterness when greeted

It is their job to reveal
Catch the pulse and feel
Give vent to the feelings of general public
The freedom of expression is very much basic

The pen must make great impact
It must speak of bold act
The stories should not generate illusion
It must help to remove confusion

His or her soul must cry
When people desperately try
To overcome with so much grief
Despite helplessness to provide relief

Neither poet are made
Nor taken out from soil by spade
They are fragrance of wind
They smell of their own kind

Poets speak their mind openly
When troubled by poisonous thoughts evenly
The media uses its platform on huge payment
The poets must come out in disfavor and openly resent

Liberty and freedom goes side by side
The society must stand as one and not divided
The county may benefit from bold feed back
People too may come to know what is at stake
