Eyes Of Love - Poem by Itai Oscar

They are looking everywhere
they are seeing everything
they never blink
they are full of love

Leroy is a drunkard
he has had one too many
he staggers home through a dark alley
he is not robbed by thugs
'cause there eyes watching over him

Lorraine is a lady of the night
she stands by the street corner scantily dressed
and is ready to lease her body for that night
a client with an STI picks her up for her services
the protection bursts while they are in action
but she is not infected
'cause there are eyes watching over her

These eyes of love
they behold all the evil we do
behold all the dirty secrets in our hearts
but their love doesn't fade
they send help in time of need
'cause they are eyes of love
eyes of God
God is love!
